RAS NZ Showing Championship Show 2026

With the recent news of the HOY 2026 cancellation, the RAS Showing Section Committee have been working in the background, and they are very excited to announce that they are looking at holding our own RAS NZ Championship show at the Hawkes Bay Showgrounds, over 3 consecutive days through the week of 23^rd-29^th March 2026.

We are still waiting on approval and confirmation of our arena availability, but it is looking likely to be convened on Wednesday 25^th, Thursday 26^th and Friday 27^th March, in order to work in with other disciplines that are also hoping to run their sections in lieu of HOY, during that same week.

RAS personnel have been working hard to put together a Championship Showing Finale for our competitors, which will depend on entries and sponsorship.

We understand the disappointment around the cancellation of HOY after many months of hard work and qualifications gained so we hope you are as excited as we are about the possibility of launching this show. Any qualification and attendances that was or was going to be gained for HOY2026  will go towards this show.
