Whisker and Inner Ear Trimming

There is to be no trimming of whiskers, eye or inner ear hair/whiskers of horses/ponies competing at RAS affiliated A&P Shows/Events. This is in line with the same animal welfare approach taken by the Equestrian Sport New Zealand (ESNZ) and New Zealand Pony Clubs Association (NZPCA). The above materials are able to be shared with judges, stewards and competitors for their information. The pamphlet has been left in a word document so margins can be adjusted, if necessary, for different printers. Printed double sided on the short edge gives an A4 document that can be folded in three for ease of handing out to competitors.
