IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT…

Since the announcement of the qualifications required for our show, the RAS NZ Showing Championships organising committee, have received an overwhelming number of inquiries from super excited competitors, in regard to the possibility of implementing a “tier 2” for our show. The organising committee have given this a lot of consideration and tossed around multiple variations of what tier 2 could look like.

We created this show, not only due to the cancellation of HOY, but also because it provided us with an opportunity to create something of our own, which has been asked for by many people for a number of years . A show for our own competitors, a show that would continue to support our membership, being our A&P Shows and kindred societies.

We understand that our show announcement in January, provided limited opportunities for competitors to gain full qualifications, given that HOY was cancelled back in November of 25.

For these reasons, we have decided that implementing a Tier 2 would maximise the opportunity for competitors to attend while still holding the integrity of a Championship show.

Therefore, we will now accept entries for Tier 2. For a full breakdown of Tier 2 qualifications, please refer to the updated conditions on Evoevents or head to our RAS NZ Showing Championships Facebook page.

If you are unsure of your qualification, please refer to the Showing Conditions and Regulations 2026.

Any other enquiries please email cara.oconnor477@gmail.com.

PLEASE NOTE: Where classes reach maximum capacity for the time frame allowed, tier 1 entries will be prioritized and Tier 2 will be accepted on a first-in-first-serve basis. At close of entries, you will be notified if your entries have been declined.

We hope this decision will enable as many competitors as possible to join us this year and help us to create an amazing foundation show that we can continue to build on and improve for years to come.
